All of our hides are from Talbott Sheep Co.’s fine wool Rambouillet x Merino sheep. This means that the hides themselves are incredibly soft. Fine wool results in very thin, soft fiber, where a coarse wool can result in a stronger, but scratchier fiber. We can’t believe how buttery soft these are! They’re great as a piece of cozy decor on a sofa, chair, or across a bed. They’re an excellent mat for napping babies and all around, beautiful too look at.
